Mangano Salutes OurHarvest

Nassau County Business Supports Local Food-banks

OurHarvestNassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano honored local entrepreneurs Scott Reich and Michael Winik, co-founders of OurHarvest, for their innovative business model where-by partnering with farmers, fishermen, and food artisans, they purchase or source all-natural products locally to maximize freshness, ensure quality and traceability, and keep costs down.

Customers place orders online through a website then OurHarvest fulfills the orders and brings them to a convenient location in the community where customers pick-up their food — sort of like a pop-up farmer’s market. For every order above $25, OurHarvest donates a meal to a local food pantry in or near your neighborhood. Not only are you and your family eating better food; you’re giving back to your community at the same time.

OurHarvest is currently operating in Roslyn, Port Washington, Huntington, East Meadow, Hicksville and New Hyde Park. To learn more about OurHarvest or to place an order, visit
