Experts to Discuss Programs and Services Available to Vets

Supervisor Kate Murray has announced that the Town of Hempstead will be hosting two veterans benefits outreach events for those residents who have proudly served their country. The first will be on Thursday, September 24th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Echo Park Community Room in West Hempstead. The other will be held on Wednesday, October 21st from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Merrick Road Golf Course Clubhouse.

“Our brave men and women in uniform have, time and time again, answered the call of duty to serve in defense of our great nation,” stated Murray. “Though we can never truly repay veterans for their service, I am proud that the Town of Hempstead is providing these excellent programs and services to assist veterans and their families.”
